When COVID-19 first started spreading across the globe, inching closer and closer to home, the Digital Health team at CIUSSS West-Central Montreal sprang into action and managed to roll out key parts of a long-term plan in a matter of weeks.
The goal was to limit the number of people on-site, thereby limiting the spread of the virus, while maintaining services and the highest possible quality of care. Now the pieces are in place to take the digital revolution into the future.

Mistreatment and mental health, two key issues facing our elderly population, have been exacerbated by the increased isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
