SRS Awards celebrate teams advancing user care through innovation

Congratulations to the CIUSSS teams honoured on May 28 at the 2026  SRS Awards ceremony for their pioneering, human-centred projects. 

Presented by the Caisse Desjardins du Réseau de la santé, these awards showcase healthcare innovation and give health- and social-service professionals an opportunity to recognize peers and share best practices.

Selected as finalists among more than 170 entries, teams from our network achieved the following distinctions:

  • First place (Simple category): Hsin-Hua Clémence Kao, Head of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Services and colleagues at the Jewish General Hospital, for Simplified access to audiology services
  • Second-place (Modern category): Program Manager Emily Lecker and the Rehabilitation Program in Specialized Schools team at the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre, for A secure communication app that engages parents 
  • Fourth place (Simple category): Clinical Nurse Specialist Melissa Mailloux and the Rehabilitation Program in Specialized Schools team at the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre, for From school to emergency room: An essential tool for continuity of care
