School-based services

Prevention activities are organized on various themes related to health and sexuality, dental hygiene, vaccination, social skills, group integration and emotional management.

Psychosocial follow-up and individual and family interventions are offered to students experiencing difficult situations that interfere with learning.

Parenting support

Support and counseling are available to families and youth on the following subjects:

  • Adaptation of newly arrived immigrants
  • Adjusting to different life cycles
  • Child developmental stages
  • Discipline and structure
  • Lack of resources
  • Family and spousal violence
  • Disease
  • Depression
  • Suicide and drug use
