The library of CIUSSS West-Central Montreal provides virtual reality headsets for viewing content from the loan desk catalog.
The equipment aims to promote the discovery and experimentation of extended reality (virtual, augmented, 360° projection) through a varied selection of immersive experiences co-constructed with the community.
This project is part of the CIUSSS's Innovation and Digital Transformation Strategy, and was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Learning Partnerships and Knowledge Activation Directorate and OROT to democratize access to immersive technologies.
