Research Privileges
Research privileges are required to conduct research activities with staff or clients of the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal.
Important: These privileges are required to submit projects in Nagano.
How to obtain research privileges?
Researchers who are members of research teams integrated or affiliated with our CIUSSS hold research privileges so long as they are members ( Policy - in french only).
For researchers external to the CIUSSS, the granting procedure varies according to two aspects:
1) Medical/Biomedical Research
In the case of a medical or biomedical research project taking place at the Jewish General Hospital, the Lady Davis Institute or at Mount Sinai Hospital, you must contact:

2) Psychosocial Research (social, behavioral, educational, cultural, etc.)
In the case of a psychosocial research project to be carried out under the auspices of the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, you must complete the application form (in french only).

For students looking to conduct research
A student wishing to carry out research work the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal must be scientifically supervised by a researcher with research privileges.
