Volunteering
During the period of temporary accommodation, asylum seekers have several steps to complete related to their integration into Quebec, for example: completing administrative documents and forms, finding housing, scheduling an immigration medical exam, finding a lawyer, receiving help with document translation, and other related procedures.
We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to get involved in supporting asylum seekers with their various steps and processes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting users in their process
- Answer questions related to their integration
Involvement
- Volunteer work (unpaid)
- Minimum of 5 hours per week
