Halte-chaleur opens in Côte-des-Neiges

Starting today and running until March 31st, 2024, an Halte-Chaleur is now available in Côte-des-Neiges through the work of community partner  Prévention CDN-NDG. Located at the Appleton Centre, (3591 Appleton Ave), the site welcomes anyone in need between 5:00 p.m and 7:00 a.m., for a maximum of 25 people at a time. The objective of the Halte-Chaleur CDN is to provide a place of respite for vulnerable members of population during periods of intense cold, no matter if they are in a situation of chronic, temporary or hidden homelessness.
