CIUSSS West-Central Montreal’s Awards of Excellence return for 2024!
As we approach the time to celebrate our CIUSSS's third annual Awards of Excellence, we reflect on the extraordinary achievements that have resonated throughout our network. Building on the success of last year's event, we continue to honour the dedication and excellence of our teams and individuals.
The Employee Advisory Committee, representing a diverse group from our network, in partnership with the Human Resources' Employee Recognition and Engagement division, proudly launches this year's awards. We are introducing two new awards, while modifying a previous award, to better-acknowledge the evolving excellence within our ranks.
We invite nominations across various categories, leading to a meticulous selection process. The highlight will be our recognition ceremony during the CIUSSS's annual Public Information Meeting this November, where three awards per category will be presented to those who have exemplified exceptional professional commitment.
Awards
The Team Award recognizes a group of at least five people who have worked on a project involving innovation or sustained change in, for example, any of the following areas:
- Patient/Client care
- Environmental systems
- Information/Support systems
The New Recruit Award acknowledges a new employee who demonstrated outstanding performance during the first two years on the job. This person must also have clearly embraced the CIUSSS’s values of ensuring care of superior quality through compassion, respect and dignity.
The Excellence in Intern Supervision Award will go to an employee who has been a positive influence on interns, while providing a supportive, stimulating and personalized learning environment.
The Quality of Service Award** celebrates the dedication of an employee who consistently exceeds expectations in their role, embodying the pinnacle of professionalism and commitment. This accolade honors a standout team member whose daily excellence and unwavering service set the gold standard for performance and peer inspiration.
The Outstanding Manager Award** recognizes an exceptional leader who has made significant contributions to their team and CIUSSS, embodying excellence in management and service dedication.
The Going Beyond Award* will go to an employee who has exemplified excellence and has accomplished actions, objectives or mandates that have made a notable difference to the experience of users or employees within the CIUSSS.
How to nominate
A team can nominate itself for the Team Award, but nominations in the other categories must be submitted by someone other than the nominee. All that’s needed is to complete this form.
Please note that if you nominated someone in 2022 or 2023, you can do so again this year (all past winners excluded).
