La Cité Médicale was launched in 2008 in Place de la Cité, in Sainte-Foy, a Quebec City borough. Probably the first fully "paperless" clinic, the vision of the existing physicians at the time was to provide quality medicine, while leveraging innovation, technology and the integration of other health professionals.
From this first clinic, a second clinic was added in Montreal, followed by a third clinic in Quebec City, Charlesbourg. To these three "strongholds" in primary care was added a state-of-the-art operating theater at the Sainte-Foy clinic.
The Cité Médicale wants to make a significant contribution to the Québec health care system and has succeeded to this day. The professionals are convinced of the importance of providing the highest quality care in a pleasant and efficient environment. The latter are supported by state-of-the-art equipment, enabling them to continue to innovate, experiment and do things differently. This clinic offers more services and better care through the use of computerized medical records, the development of specialized clinics and the sharing of care with clinical or auxiliary nurses.
