Role, mandate and independence of the Revision Committee

The Revision Committee reviews the way the Medical Examiner has investigated the complaint of any individual. This includes not only the complainant, but the doctor, pharmacist or dentist who is the subject of the user's complaint. No appeal exists when a complaint is sent to the CPDP for investigation for disciplinary purposes. Nor is there any appeal when a complaint has been summarily dismissed by the Medical Examiner, who has found it to be frivolous, vexatious or made in bad faith.
